Real Boxing / Kickboxing
In our Real Boxing / Kickboxing classes we emphasize the technique of punches. kicks, footwork, stance and movement. The use of more realistic boxing drills is utilized to create a more progressive workout.
After technique class we transition to a lite-tempo sparring session where members are partnered with the appropriate age, height and weight opponent. Use of headgear and18oz boxing gloves is mandatory for more aggressive sparring. All sparring at 8th Street Gym is completely optional.
